Caleb Nabower, PT
Physical Therapy
Caleb Nabower is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, is certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and has extensive experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain.
Originally from Hastings, Nebraska, Caleb’s career path took a few twists before finding his healthcare calling. After earning a degree in Elementary Special Education from Hastings College, he spent the next five years working in Special Education. However, after working alongside educators and therapists and his wife finishing her residency in Pediatric Medicine, Caleb discovered a growing desire to make a career change. Seeing the difference his wife was making in the world and her passion for healthcare was the catalyst to take a leap and pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
Caleb’s approach to healthcare is rooted in his belief in Whole Person Healthcare, which means looking beyond the individual’s symptoms and considering the full context of their health and lifestyle. He believes successful rehabilitation involves understanding and addressing the person as a whole, considering their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This philosophy aligns perfectly with Caleb’s work at think, where he’s excited to be part of a team that provides personalized, comprehensive care to patients seeking help.
His philosophy is that physical therapy is not just about healing the body; it’s about helping people regain the freedom to live their lives to the fullest. One of his most memorable patient stories involves a patient who, after completing therapy, told Caleb, “A lot of people give me a confused look when I tell them I enjoy going to PT.” This compliment underscored Caleb’s belief that therapy should be a positive, rewarding experience.
Outside of work, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife, Aleisha, and their two daughters. In his downtime, Caleb is also an avid guitar player and enjoys unwinding by playing his favorite tunes. Additionally, he enjoys playing video games and is always looking for new ways to have fun and relax.
If he could visit anywhere, he would love to travel to Australia, a place he’s always wanted to explore. He is drawn to the country’s natural beauty and outdoor activities, such as hiking and surfing. He hopes to one day make the trip a reality.
