Beginner Weights Class

Kick off your New Year’s resolutions with this introductory class to weightlifting! Instructed by Think’s very own licensed physical therapists.  Learn how to do basic, light weight exercises to improve your strength, endurance, and work up a sweat.

This class will teach you:

  • Strength training with a set of light weight dumbbells
  • Upper and lower body strengthening
  • How to set up a workout at home
  • Proper weightlifting form

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Weights will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own set of light weights (1-5lbs) to class. Fill out a pre-screen questionnaire to see if this class is right for you.

Class Structure and Details

  • Program Length: Each class session runs for 6 consecutive weeks.
  • Schedule: Classes are held every Friday at 11:00 AM.
  • Location: The class takes place on the first floor of the Think Whole Person Healthcare building, immediately to the left when you enter the front doors.
  • Cost: The total cost for the 6-week session is $90.00. Payment is required prior to the start of the first class and is nonrefundable.
