Jessie Nguyen, PA-C
Family Medicine
Jessie Nguyen is a Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic sports medicine. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. With a passion for patient care, she treats acute injuries, sports-related trauma, and chronic pain.
Growing up in Lincoln, she fondly remembers fall activities such as pumpkin patches and haunted hayrack rides, which shaped her love for her hometown. These experiences remain close to her heart, reminding her of the simple joys in life. In 2019, she moved to Omaha to pursue her career in healthcare, where she now resides and continues to stay close to her family in Lincoln.
Jessie is committed to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. She believes in a patient-centered approach, listening to her patients’ concerns and tailoring treatment plans to their individual needs.
She is proud to be part of a team focusing on whole-person healthcare. At ThinkQuick Walk-In Clinic, Jessie treats both acute and chronic injuries. Her expertise spans a variety of conditions, including sports, work, and home injuries and the exacerbation of chronic pain. She especially likes pediatric care, ear, nose, and throat conditions, as well as pulmonology. She values the opportunity to help patients prevent illness and improve their overall well-being.
For Jessie, healthcare is all about connection and collaboration. “What gets me fired up about healthcare is the ability to meet people from all walks of life and help them with a variety of conditions in a single day. Each patient is unique, and the opportunity to make a difference in their lives is incredibly rewarding,” she shares. She also believes in the power of communication. She values the opportunity to listen to her patients’ stories, saying, “I hope my patients see me as passionate, a good listener, and someone who is always committed to helping them find the best solutions for their health concerns.”
One of her most rewarding experiences was working with an autistic child who was anxious about a procedure. Through patience and understanding, she built trust and provided a positive experience.
When she isn’t working, Jessie enjoys exploring her personal interests. One of her favorites is attending live music events. She makes it a goal to attend a live show at least once a month, and she has been fortunate to see some of her favorite artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Drake, and Benson Boone. For her, live music is the perfect opportunity to make lasting memories with friends while enjoying food, drinks, and great performances.
If time, money, and ability were no obstacle, Jessie’s dream would be to venture into space. The idea of seeing Earth from the outside, appreciating the textures of the sea and land from an entirely new perspective, is a thrilling and adventurous goal for her. Of course, she’s also curious about how eating in zero gravity would feel.
