Ashlee Denny, APRN

Ashlee Denny, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in acute and preventative care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Family Practice from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha, where she was raised. Ashlee’s path toward a career in healthcare was greatly influenced by her mother, a dedicated registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Witnessing her mother’s commitment to her patients and family left a lasting impression on Ashlee, inspiring her to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Ashlee worked in emergency departments as a volunteer, patient care technician, and nurse, which prepared her for the demands of fast-paced medical environments. Her professional background, including experience in trauma, emergency medicine, urgent care, and pediatrics, allows her to employ her analytical abilities to improve healthcare delivery through a holistic, patient-centered approach. Ashlee also focuses on treating acute conditions and providing preventative care, especially for vulnerable and underserved populations.
Ashlee is a member of the American Nurses Association and has been published twice in the Cornhusker Family Physician and the Gastroenterology and Digestive Health. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling and hiking. She is known for her attentive listening and commitment to treating patients comprehensively.
