Andrew Dinsmoor is a Registered Dietitian (RD) passionate about improving health through sustainable dietary changes. With a background in neuroscience and nutrition, he combines scientific knowledge with practical strategies to help individuals manage chronic conditions and achieve their health goals.

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Andrew’s interest in healthcare began with his experience working in a neuroscience research lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Nutrition, where he began to understand the role of diet in our overall health better. During his time at Illinois, he contributed to a research study exploring the effects of nutrition on infant brain development. This experience, where nutrition and neuroscience intersected, ignited his interest in food science and its profound impact on the body, particularly the brain.

Having personally witnessed firsthand experience with a loved one’s battle with brain cancer inspired him to pursue a healthcare career to help others. He believes that nutrition plays a vital role in both preventing and managing disease.

As a Registered Dietitian, He believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on physical and mental well-being, providing personalized nutrition counseling and evidence-based recommendations. Andrew is particularly interested in helping individuals manage conditions like high cholesterol, diabetes, and digestive disorders.

At think, Andrew is excited to integrate medical nutrition therapy into a whole-person healthcare approach. He is committed to helping patients achieve their health goals through practical and sustainable dietary changes.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys creative writing, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. He is particularly fond of hiking and camping. If time and resources allowed, he would love to spend time in a cabin in or near a national park, reconnecting with nature.
