Mark Hare, MD

Family Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Dr. Mark Hare is a think General Practice and Primary Care Physician who enjoys connecting with patients and offering guidance toward a higher quality of life.

He realized he wanted to work in Medicine during his undergraduate studies in Biology, which interested him in the scientific aspect of medicine. His co-major in social justice studies made him aware of the impact health can have on the individual and the community.

The interactions with patients that impact him the most are those that remind him that effective listening and a display of genuine care can have a profound impact on a person’s life. He hopes his patients would say that he is thorough and patient, and that it’s easy to place trust in him as a physician.

What Mark appreciates most about think is the goal of meeting individual patient needs while also prioritizing prevention and avoiding high-cost medical care use.

Dr. Hare enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife, Luisa, and their dog, Sadie.

Accepting New Patients

Dr. Justin Schramm is a Family Medicine Physician at think who strives to help his patients down their own path to wellness. He enjoys discovering what is important to each patient he meets and helping them make decisions based on their individual values.

He was initially interested in a degree in medicine due to a love of its mix of natural and human science. In college, he also pursued education in theology, philosophy, and ethics in an effort to understand the human perspective. He is confident he is equipped to help his patients navigate their journey through life and the world of healthcare. At the same time, he hopes his patients appreciate his sense of humor and rational mindset.

Think was a clear choice for Dr. Schramm after residency due to its focus on the individual patient’s perspective while also working to reduce health care costs and promote preventative medicine.

Justin is a self-professed “nerd” and enjoys playing board and video games with his family while also making time for outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.

Family Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Lucille Woodard, MD, is a dedicated family medicine provider with deep roots in Omaha, Nebraska. After getting her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, she completed her residency at Clarkson Family Medicine in Omaha. Her career has taken her to many places, including a significant role as the Women’s Health Medical Director at the VA. Today, she cares for her patients at think, bringing considerable experience and knowledge, specifically with a passion for women’s health.

Dr. Woodard focuses on the whole person, not just their symptoms. She is passionate about helping women of all ages with their unique health needs and understanding the stages and phases of life, from the pre-pregnancy arena, which is more of an adolescent time, to older women going through menopause. She used to lead a team at the VA, helping improve care for women, and she always makes sure to understand the specific needs of the less fortunate, ensuring they get the best care possible.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Woodard loves to read and is part of a book club called the Esoteric Book Club. She also enjoys working out on her Peloton bike, even though she sometimes struggles with back and neck problems. Dr. Woodard believes in living a healthy life and tries to set a good example for her patients by caring for herself. In addition to staying busy with her clinical and advisory roles, she has three children, a set of twins who are finishing their first year of college, and her oldest is in their second year of medical school.

Lucille Woodard, MD, teaches her patients to take control of their own health journey. She believes in treating the whole person. She says, “To be very honest, if we’re not treating the whole person, you will not get the desired outcome. We also need to understand how much our mind impacts our health.” At think, she is known for her caring approach and commitment to ensuring each patient gets personalized care to help them live their best lives.

Krista Hill, MD

Family Medicine

Krista Hill, MD is a think physician who earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After completing her residency in Family Medicine at Clarkson Family Medicine, Dr. Hill developed a passion for patient care to help families lead healthier lives. With a warm and approachable demeanor, she specializes in Family Medicine, focusing on each patient’s unique needs and ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they deserve.

Dr. Krista Hill was the first in her family to go into medicine. Initially, she considered a career in teaching, as many of her family members are teachers. However, her path shifted towards medicine during college after volunteering in an Emergency Room. This experience helped her realize that, like teaching, medicine offers the opportunity to help others. She chose family medicine because it allowed her to build deep relationships with her patients. Many of her patients have been under her care for decades. Dr. Hill shares, “I love family medicine due to the relationships you build with patients. At the start of my career I knew this was important but midway through it is even more important.” She enjoys caring for the entire family, from children to great-grandparents, with particular interests in pediatrics and geriatrics. She finds it rewarding when patients refer their loved ones to her for long-term care.

She believes that primary care specialties are fundamental to healthcare. “Primary Care Physicians are more than medical providers,” she shared, “they also serve as guides who help patients navigate the healthcare system. They focus on the whole patient and build unique relationships among medical specialties. Primary care physicians often identify an issue when a patient feels unwell without specific complaints, either by diagnosing the problem or by coordinating with the appropriate specialist. They also help many patients reduce the number of doctors they need to see by managing various conditions.”

For Dr. Hill, “Whole Person Healthcare” means recognizing that a patient is more than a collection of diagnoses and that many factors influence their health. It also underscores the importance of a team approach, involving physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and the patient’s insights to optimize care, whether for illness or preventative measures. As healthcare becomes more complex, a larger, well-coordinated team must manage everything effectively and improve a patient’s symptoms and long-term health.

Dr. Hill believes her patients would describe her as a good listener who is thorough and kind. She offers some tips for a better visit experience: always bring a list of your medications (either written down or as photos of your prescription bottles) and, if you have multiple concerns, write them down. A list helps prioritize issues and can indicate if an additional visit is needed to address everything thoroughly. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family; she and her husband have two children who keep them busy. Her other interests include reading, traveling, and running.

Family Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Dr. Jamie Vitamvas is a Family Medicine Physician here at think. She loves the concept of a clinic run by physicians with the goal of achieving and maintaining health by fully supporting patients’ medical and psychosocial needs.

Dr. Vitamvas didn’t originally go into medical school thinking she would choose Family Medicine. As she was going through clinical rotations in 3rd and 4th year, she found herself frequently wondering what happened with patients, and it drove her crazy not being able to follow up and see how they were doing. During Primary Care rotations, she loved how the physicians had been taking care of their patients for many years, and knew their patients’ families and life stories. She loved seeing patients of all ages, so it became pretty clear, pretty fast that Family Medicine was the right choice for her.

In her spare time, Jamie enjoys all things crafty, specifically paper crafts, resin crafts, and sewing. She and her husband enjoy rock crawling in their Jeep, and she would love to be able to take her sons on trips to other countries, in order to give them a broader perspective of the world.

Family Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Dr. James L. Sullivan is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Raised on a family farm in central Illinois, he first earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He served as a Navy F-14 Tomcat pilot, completing three aircraft carrier deployments.

Caring for his older brother through a terminal illness inspired him to dedicate his life to healing, shifting his focus from military aviation to medicine. He earned his MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency through the combined U.S. Air Force/University of Nebraska Medical Center program. Dr. Sullivan is licensed in Nebraska and Iowa and managed a practice in Fremont, Nebraska, for 14 years.

Dr. Sullivan’s philosophy is simple: prevention over reaction. He operates on the idea that it is easier to prevent health issues than to fix them later. He focuses on building collaborative, long-term relationships, empowering patients to invest in and manage their own health.

He prioritizes truly hearing his patients, viewing his role as a steady guide who supports patients as they navigate the healthcare system with clarity and confidence.

Dr. Sullivan joined Think Whole Person Healthcare because its patient-centered, comprehensive model perfectly reflects his vision for primary care. The integration of services under one roof—the Circle of Care—and the emphasis on prevention allow him to practice proactive, relationship-driven medicine. This structure supports him in overseeing and developing clear health strategies for his patients.

Patients consistently commend Dr. Sullivan as an attentive listener who makes them feel heard and respected. They appreciate his calm approach and the way he partners with them on their care. Outside of the exam room Dr Sullivan stays active with skiing, scuba diving, running, biking, and swimming. Iceland, New Zealand, and the Great Barrier Reef remain on his list of adventure concepts.

Jacqueline Hanson, DO, MA

Family Medicine

Accepting New Patients

Jacqueline Hanson, DO, is a Family Medicine physician with a Master’s in Bioethics, practicing at Think Whole Person Healthcare. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, as the youngest in a large family,

Jacqueline is a first-generation physician whose humble roots fuel her empathetic approach to patient care. She earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Art History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Doctor of Osteopathy and MA in Bioethics from Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. A proud Husker fan—where #15 will always be Tommy Frazier—Jacqueline enjoys sports, music, and art, with fond memories of swimming at city pools like Hitchcock Pool, thanks to her lifeguard sister.

Jacqueline’s calling to healthcare emerged in high school, shaped by two significant family medical experiences: her own diagnosis of severe scoliosis requiring surgery and her seven-year-old nephew’s battle with a brain tumor, which involved emergency surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Driving her nephew to physical therapy appointments exposed her to the profound impact of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, inspiring her to become part of patients’ healing journeys, particularly in women’s health, mental health, and LGBTQIA health.

To Jacqueline, Whole Person Healthcare means treating patients with empathy and understanding, recognizing their unique backgrounds and needs beyond their medical conditions. Her approach, informed by her bioethics training, emphasizes listening and tailoring care to align with patients’ values, ensuring they feel heard and supported, especially in areas like women’s health and mental health where disparities in care are common.

Jacqueline joined Think Whole Person Healthcare for its commitment to accessible, patient-centered care that aligns with her mission to serve diverse populations, including those often underserved in traditional healthcare settings. She values Think’s collaborative model, which allows her to integrate her expertise in family medicine and bioethics to address complex health needs, making a tangible difference in patients’ lives while fostering trust and connection.
Patients would likely describe Jacqueline as down-to-earth and an attentive listener who makes them feel valued and understood. Her ability to connect personally, shaped by her own experiences with illness and her family’s support during her nephew’s recovery, allows her to build strong, trusting relationships with patients, ensuring their care feels personalized and empowering.

When not practicing medicine, Jacqueline immerses herself in music, attending concerts, listening to both new and classic favorites, and enjoying art festivals and museums, inspired by her time studying abroad in London where she visited iconic sites like Stonehenge and Westminster Abbey. She loves gathering with friends and family, cheering for Husker football and soccer, and dreams of visiting the Galapagos Islands to explore its unique ecosystem if time, money, and ability were no barriers.
