Medically supervised movement and balance classes.
Physical mobility is a primary indicator of long-term health, independence, and daily well-being. However, traditional commercial gym environments often lack the specialized support required by individuals recovering from injuries, managing joint conditions, or navigating age-related balance changes.
At Think Whole Person Healthcare, ThinkFitness operates as a specialized group exercise program. Rather than offering an open gym floor with unmonitored equipment, our facility is engineered for structured, medically integrated conditioning classes. Located inside our Omaha campus, ThinkFitness serves as a collaborative pathway supported by our on-site physical therapists to help you restore function, improve balance, and maintain strength safely.
What is thinkfitness?
ThinkFitness is a medically supervised exercise program designed for structured group instruction. We do not operate as a traditional public gym, nor do we house self-directed weight machines for open use.
Instead, ThinkFitness provides a controlled environment where older adults, post-rehabilitation patients, and individuals managing chronic health conditions participate in targeted classes. Every session is led by qualified instructors who understand biomechanics, movement modifications, and age-related physical needs.

Move better, feel stronger, and live a healthier you!
Balance Class
Regain your confidence and improve your stability with one of our three available 2025 Sessions through December. Whether you are managing a chronic condition, recovering from an injury, or proactively working to maintain your independence, our class can provide the tools you need to keep your balance and maintain well-being.
Beginner Weights Class
Starting January 9, 2026, during this introductory class you will learn how to do basic, light weight exercises to improve your strength, endurance, and work up a sweat. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Weights will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own set of light weights (1-5lbs) to class. Classes run for 6 weeks and are held every Friday at 11 am.

Our approach to thinkfitness.
Moving from individual physical therapy to an exercise program can bring up concerns. We address these with three main standards:
Physical Therapy Collaboration
Our class instructors work closely with our on-site physical therapists. When you finish a physical therapy program, your mobility data is shared with your fitness team to make sure your classes support your recovery.
Medical Record Integration
Class instructors use the same electronic health record system as your primary care doctor. Your health history and physical details are reviewed before you enroll to make sure your class matches your medical plan.
Supervised Group Instruction
Because we do not offer open gym access, every class is guided directly by a coach. This ensures proper form, appropriate pacing, and continuous safety monitoring during every exercise.

How thinkfitness fits into whole person care.
Healthcare works best when services are connected. At think, ThinkFitness links directly with your primary care doctor, physical therapist, and the rest of your care team.
Your instructor records your attendance, balance improvements, and progress in your medical chart. During checkups, your primary care doctor can review your mobility trends. This keeps your whole care team informed and makes sure your exercise routine supports your overall health plan.
