Samantha Middleton, PA-C

Family Medicine

Samantha Middleton, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. Originally from Norfolk, Nebraska, she cherishes her small-town upbringing where everyone knew each other. She shared her school journey with the same classmates from grade school through graduation. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, and her master’s degree from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Samantha realized her calling to healthcare during high school, inspired by the profound difference compassion and care could make in people’s lives, whether through a family member’s experience or her community volunteering. She was drawn to being there for others, offering help, listening, and support. After college in Wayne, she moved to Omaha to support her husband’s path to becoming a doctor, during which they adopted an Australian Shepherd that became part of the family, prompting her to pursue her own healthcare journey in PA school.

To Samantha, Whole Person Healthcare means treating people as complete human beings, not merely a list of diagnoses, emphasizing compassion, collaboration, and patient-centered approaches. Her role involves making a real impact by solving meaningful problems, advocating for those who can’t speak up, and helping patients navigate life’s toughest moments. She has a special interest in OBGYN services and is fired up by the opportunity to be part of something bigger than herself, fostering understanding, trust, and connection in every interaction.

Samantha joined Think Whole Person Healthcare because it allows her to embody her belief in holistic care every day, working with a team that prioritizes compassion, collaboration, and truly patient-centered practices. She views the model as an ideal way to make a difference not just through treatment, but by building genuine understanding, trust, and connections that address the full spectrum of patients’ needs.

Patients describe Samantha as someone who truly listens—not only to their symptoms but to their concerns, fears, and personal stories—creating a calm, compassionate environment where they feel seen, cared for, safe, and respected, regardless of what they’re facing.

Samantha’s life is beautifully full with her family, including her husband, son (born just four months after her PA graduation), and their Australian Shepherd. When not working, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active through working out and golfing, traveling, and teaching dance whenever possible. If time, money, and ability were no obstacle, she would love to visit Paris, France.
