Jodi Ramold, MSW, LCSW, LIMHP, is a Mental Health Therapist in Behavioral Health Services at think. Originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, Jodi has called Omaha, Nebraska, home for the past 25 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri State University in 1997 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2001. With over 25 years of experience in hospital case management and clinical therapy, Jodi specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and groups dealing with grief, loss, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, life adjustments, and chronic mental health conditions.

Jodi’s journey into healthcare began at age 22, initially pursuing a degree to become an English teacher before an internship at a local hospital shifted her focus. Witnessing the spectrum of emotions in healthcare, from joy to profound grief, and her own experience with a serious illness inspired her to devote her career to helping others navigate the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of chronic illness and life’s difficulties, encouraging resilience and improved quality of life.

To Jodi, Whole Person Healthcare means providing accessible, comprehensive care that addresses mental health as a critical component of overall well-being, recognizing that mental stability is foundational to a fulfilling life. She approaches therapy with genuineness and a non-judgmental attitude, emphasizing that seeking mental health support is normal and essential, and works to enhance clients’ coping skills to manage stress, low self-esteem, and life’s uncertainties, helping them thrive despite challenges.

Jodi joined think to be part of a multidisciplinary team that makes healthcare affordable and accessible, aligning with her belief that mental health services should be readily available to all. Think‘s approach, which simplifies access to diverse services, allows her to support patients holistically and contribute to their healthcare journey as they overcome obstacles and realize their potential.

Her patients would describe her as genuine, caring, and an attentive listener who creates a safe, non-judgmental space for addressing their concerns. Her ability to connect deeply with clients, drawing from her extensive experience and personal understanding of illness, helps them feel supported in managing chronic conditions, grief, or complex family dynamics, empowering them to rewrite their stories with confidence.

Outside of her practice, Jodi cherishes spending time with her 19-year-old son, her family, and walking her dog, while also indulging her love for decorating when time allows. If time, money, and ability were no barriers, she dreams of traveling to sunny beach destinations to relax and soak in the warmth of coastal landscapes.
