Dr. Charles Stoner, MD, grew up in Kentucky and Southwest Iowa, where he graduated high school. He continued his education at Creighton University, completing his undergraduate studies and medical school there. Following medical school, Dr. Stoner pursued his residency in family practice at Truman Medical Center-East in Kansas City, Missouri.
Since 2003, Dr. Stoner has been dedicated to serving patients in West Omaha. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Stoner strongly believes in the power of preventive medicine and managing chronic conditions. He emphasizes the importance of nutrition and exercise, highlighting their significant impact on overall health. Dr. Stoner embodies the principles of whole-person healthcare, focusing on all aspects of a patient’s well-being. He finds immense satisfaction in early diagnosis through screenings, recognizing its positive influence on patients’ lives.
Dr. Stoner’s journey to medicine began in ninth grade with a career awareness class. Interviewing his own family physician sparked his initial interest in the field. His patients appreciate his approachable nature, describing him as easy to talk to.
In his free time, Dr. Stoner enjoys staying active through jogging and cherishes moments spent reading, attending family gatherings, and experiencing new cultures. He also aspires to one day visit Jerusalem.
