John Woodruff, MD Internal Medicine Physician
I am a third-generation physician who grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska. I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan, went to medical school at UNMC, and performed my internal medicine residency at Creighton. After completing an extra year of chief residency and becoming board certified, I joined Physicians of Internal Medicine in 1987, and remained in that practice until joining Think in 2015.
I’ve enjoyed the multiple facets of adult medicine. Part of that has been trying to stay engaged in medical education of both students and residents, and I have served as an assistant clinical professor for Creighton University. Hobbies include traveling, sports (mainly watching) and anything that involves “crunching numbers”, but the loves of my life are my wife Lori and our four daughters.
