Michelle Ring, RD, LMNT, CDE Registered Dietitian & Diabetes Educator
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). I grew up in Omaha, NE, and attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, majoring in Nutritional Science and Dietetics. I completed my dietetic internship at the University of Maryland, College Park and have been a dietitian for over 10 years. I became a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) after years of providing diabetes education to patients, and seeing the positive impact the education made in people’s everyday lives through a better understanding of how to manage diabetes.
I am passionate about helping others sort through and simplify nutrition and diabetes information to develop a plan that will work for you. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to make changes in their lives whether it’s to improve blood sugars, lose weight, or relieve symptoms of GI issues. We will work together on finding simple and easy ways to feel better, while still including foods you love and keeping with your current lifestyle. Good nutrition shouldn’t be difficult and I enjoy showing my clients how to create new habits that last.
