Don Mantz, MD Family Physician
I was born in Cedar Rapids, IA, grew up in the Dakotas. My undergraduate degree was in pharmacy, but after finishing that degree I decided to go on to medical school and become a family physician. My residency was here in Omaha at UNMC finishing in 1986. I stayed at UNMC as a teaching faculty member and also completed a Fellowship in Faculty Development from Michigan State while an assistant professor. The fellowship taught teaching and research skills. I have been in practice for 32+ years. I have practiced in Omaha and Lincoln in academics, private practice and group employed practice. As a family physician, I treat all ages of patients, though I do not deliver babies anymore. I am excited to be at Think. The quality and level of patient and physician support is impressive and the environment optimizes both the patient and physician experience.
